Cleanse… Taco Bell addiction

I have been eating REALLY bad lately and I am sick of it!! I have decided to go on a cleanse for 10days. I want to reprogram my body to LIKE veggies and NOT taco bell. My fiance doesn’t get home from work until midnight and by then dinner is digested and I am hungery again.. guess what I do?!! I call him on his way home and ask him to get some Taco BELL!! What the heck is wrong with me… that stuff is so gross but so good at the same time! I don’t get it… I think they put some type of addiction agent into the food. Oh well, today is Day 1 of my cleanse… I will be doing the “Master Cleanse” and so far so good. A little hungery but nothing killer. I know some people do not believe in cleanses but it REALLY does make you feel good after the initial 3 days. After the 10 days I will start drinking juice and move onto fruits and veggies. Re-Program the BOD Baby!!! :) Wish me luck!

Missed my buddy slim!!

Well, my life has been VERY stressful but I am back and I missed my support!! :) I have weighed in today and I have lost 4 pounds!! YES!! I don’t know how but I am happy about it. I am soooo stressed because my school has messed up my financial aide and I can’t go and fix it until MONDAY!! grrr… now I can’t even enjoyed the weekend because I am going to be worried the whole time. *think good thoughts… think good thoughts*

My fiance has saturday off (which he never does) so we are going to have a date day!! I am excited because we are going to the fair and maybe the movies. I just have to watch my calories because I don’t want to go back to the 170’s AGAIN! :)

I have been really not wanting to workout lately… I don’t know why! Everyday goes by and I tell myself I will run extra tomorrow and then I never do! I ran yesterday for the c25k but don’t want to today… but I will ( I hope). I am just so stressed with everything I don’t want to do anything… at all!! HELP!

I’m Back from vacation!!

Well, by the title you obviously know I am back from my little vacation with my fiance and friends… WOWEE it was fun. I am exhausted though and haven’t worked out since thursday!! YIKES! Tomorrow I am going to do the c25k run and run lots of errands to get ready for my LAST year of nursing school. Thursday I plan on doing the 2nd part of the triathalon challenge and I can’t wait to give my body a swift kick and jump start that metabolism again. I ate pretty well over the course of the weekend and only drank on friday (I was WAaayyy to hung over on saturday) haha… I drank a few shots and haven’t felt the same! :) No more whiskey for me that’s for sure. Anywho, back on track and ready to lose the poundage once again!!

Help.. running shoes emergency!!

I am in NEED of a new pair of running shoes. Anyone have suggestions…? I really want to get Nike Shocks.. I have heard good things. What do ya’ll think?

Swim suits and beer?!

Well, I just finished my 3rd run for the c25k challenge. I am feeling great but I still haven’t done my swim for the triathalon yet. :( I will do it tomorrow but don’t want to get into my swim suit.. oh well I better get use to it because this weekend I am going up north! And even better I am going with one of my friends who has just had her 2nd baby and is smaller than me… she is one of my friends from high school ALL the guys looked at.. and I was the fat girl behind her (and I was like 10lbs overweight). I LOVE her to death but still to this day I feel like the big balloon behind her. I know, I done ranting about my self conciousness. I plan to have a great weekend with my finace, my best friend of 15 years and her family. I am not going to lie to myself or you guys… I WILL have some light beer but i WILL eat very good while I am there to even the calories out!

Anywho, tomorrow I am doing the swim like I said and also another jog for c25k (for fun) I know I know but I have to have some calorie clearance for this weekend and well … the yummy cold beer! :)

feel good and losing weight!

So, yes I looked at the scale about 5 days early and I LOST 3 lbs!! I knew eating well and working out would pay off!! Anywho.. I just finished my workout for c25k and my run for the triathalon.. and…. I did my bike ride also!! who hoooo!! I am feeling great and I can’t wait to check the scale on sunday. ok, well i just wanted to share I am going to eat my dinner (salad with pinapple for my desert).

Day 1 of triathalon challenge/ couch to 5k challenge!

Happy Monday ALL! :)

Well, I have decided to do both challenges to increase my weight loss! I have just finished my run and feel amazing… exercise makes me feelll soooo darn good… YES! :)

Here is my week:

 Monday- 3mile run for triathalon (I am splitting the 6.35mile in half), workout 1 of couch to 5K (20 min interval walk/jog)

Tuesday- 9 mile bike ride (splitting it up across the week), 3.35 mile run, swim (.5)

Wednesday- 9 mile bike ride, swim (.5) , workout 2 of c25K

Thursday- 9 mile bike ride, swim (.5) , workout 3 of c25K, run 3 miles

Friday- Leave for vacation!!

Now, that I have finished my workout for the day I am going to hang out with my fiance!! YEAH, since this is his only day of until friday… we are going to watch some movies! I hope everyone is acomplishing what they want today!! :)

Can’t Sleep.. acai berry for energy??!!

So, I went to bed Waaayyy early to wake up early and go for my bike ride… oh was I WRONG! My dog started barking at NOTHING outside and woke me up @11pm… I took him outside to potty and now I can’t sleep… grr….

So, I am looking at how the weather is going to be this weekend and….  BLAH…. it’s going to rain 2 out of the 3 days I go on vacation… that deserves another grr… grr… Oh well, I think my friends and I will make the best of it anyway! :)

Ok ok I am going to say this because well I have been wondering if it works or not.. so don’t judge ok?! :) I am online and I keep seeing these ads for acai berry and how it gives you lots of energy (and well I NEED more energy). I know these ads are scams to make money but I was wondering if I go to my local health store and see what they have… am I just being stupid here?! Has anyone ever tried acai berry? Just humor me ok :)

Well, I think I have said enough dumb stuff already tonight… it is 2am YIKES!! I am going to try to get to bed again… tomorrow is another day to loss the poundage!! YES!

A new week!!

Tomorrow I change my habits and restart my weight loss journey! I have plan on going for a very long bike ride and run. I also am going to eat lots and lots of veggies!! I can’t wait to get on the scale and see a lower number! I can’t wait to get out of the 170’s and I am going to try so hard to do it!

 I haven’t been eating that great the last few weeks and I got onto the scale today and saw that I had gained 3 pounds!! YIKES! oh well.. I am really upset but I am going to work extra hard this week to banish these pounds away for good. I am going up north with my fiance and our friends this weekend and I am a little nervous but I know I can keep my cravings to a minimum!

Hi, I’m New and I NEED support! :)

I am very new to this whole blogging experience. I have decided to join because I realize if I don’t have support from others or a goal to maintain I DO NOT exercise or eat right… sad but true! I just finished up doing a family biggest loser challenge which I came in 2nd overall. I am very pleased with myself and can’t believe I lost the weight I did. The challenge was for 3 months and I started off weighing 188 and ended at 165 (but I gained 5 back so I am at 170).

I am 24 years old and a nursing student in michigan. I live with my finace and our dog. We live about 2 hours away from our family so it can be really tough sometimes. I only have a year left in college and I will have a BSN. I can’t wait to finish college and start the job of my dreams. I am planning on going into OB / Women’s Health.

 My plan for weight loss is eating clean and working out 6 days a week for at least 1 1/2 hours. Within the past 5 months I have started joggin and I love it… well I love the fact I can jog I just need some motivation to get on the treadmill or go outside to do it! Also, I have just had my bike fixed so I have been riding about 7 miles… when I do go out!

I am really looking for friends to meet and help motivate me in my quest and I will do the same in return! :) I am a fun loving person but since I gained all this weight I feel trapped in my own body. I never want to go out anymore and feel like everyone is staring at me in public. So, let’s get some pounds off and feel good about ourselves!!
